All wine tastings are included in your ticket. We believe in responsible alcohol service. You can sample wine tastings during your session time until and unless you show visible signs of intoxication, at which point service stops.

All event wine will be available to purchase and take home with you. Not heading straight home? No problem! Our retailer offers free delivery within the District of Columbia on purchases of $100 or more. Delivery for a fee will also be available to addresses outside of DC.

FAQ
Timing: You have a choice between Early Admission tickets and GA tickets. Early Admission tickets get you in an extra hour earlier than GA (General Admission) tickets, and you get to continue to enjoy the event during the GA session. You may not purchase tickets for more than 1 Session, and you must exit at the end of your Session. Session Times below:
Session 1 Early Admission: 12:00pm - 1:00pm (includes admission during GA)
Session 1 GA: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Session 2 Early Admission: 3:30pm - 4:30pm (includes admission during GA)
Session 2 GA: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Session 3 Early Admission: 7:00pm - 8:00pm (includes admission during GA)
Session 3 GA: 8:00pm - 10:00pm
When Can I Attend: When you purchased your tickets, you purchased for a specific time frame. This time frame is listed on your ticket. Even though the entire event runs earlier or later than the time listed on your ticket, there are multiple sessions. You are only permitted to remain inside during your purchased session time frame.
For example: You have general admission tickets that say from 1pm - 3pm. You see the event is open until 10pm. If you were to get there at 2pm are you permitted to stay past 3pm? No, your tickets are only good until 3pm. You must exit at the conclusion of your session time to make room for attendees of the next session.
Transportation: We strongly encourage use of public transportation or ride sharing apps. Due to venue capacity, all entrants must have a ticket to enter (including designated drivers).
Non-drinkers: we'd love to have you, but due to venue capacity, each entry requires a ticket.
Children: while we love kids, their attendance is prohibited. This is a 21+ event.
Pets: we love pets too but, unfortunately, their admission is prohibited.
Weather: The event is indoors, and happens regardless of weather conditions.
Sampling: The DC Wine Fest is a wine tasting event. You will have the opportunity to sample wine from vendors exhibiting at the event. We encourage responsible enjoyment: tastings will stop for any attendee showing visible signs of intoxication.
Food: Some great food vendors will be there and ready to please. Please see our Eats page for more details. All food is available for purchase.
Covid-19 Protocols: Covid-19 guidance is regularly changing. We will be following whatever mandates exist at the time of the event, if any. If the event happened today, there is no mask mandate and no vaccination mandate. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please stay home if sick or are exhibiting any symptom associated with COVID-19. There are no refunds on the basis of illness.
Refunds: The DC Wine Fest® is a live event. Your ticket is allocated against venue capacity at purchase. All tickets are final sale and nonrefundable.
